
Sales & Business Development Manager

As the Sales & Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for building, managing, and motivating a 1520 member B2C sales team while also spearheading B2B partnerships and lead-generation efforts to support and accelerate monthly revenue targets.
Youll play a dual-role:
1.A team captaindriving field/inbound/outbound sales operations
2.A business growth enablerestablishing B2B pipelines, channel partners, and local corporate alliances
Key Responsibilities
Team Management & B2C Sales Execution:
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team (1520 members)
- Set daily/weekly/monthly KPIs and review performance regularly
- Design and implement local sales campaigns, events, and activations
- Supervise lead follow-ups, pitch quality, and conversion metrics
- Monitor team CRM usage, call handling, and on-ground activities
- Create a culture of ownership, hustle, and discipline
B2B Lead Generation & Partnerships:
- Identify and engage with corporates, institutions, and channel partners
- Build B2B funnels to support lead flow and cross-selling opportunities
- Pitch value propositions, conduct presentations, and close long-term deals
- Coordinate with marketing for targeted B2B campaigns and events
- Maintain relationships with B2B partners and generate recurring leads
Revenue & Strategy:
- Own the monthly revenue targets and ensure achievement through combined B2C + B2B efforts
- Optimize lead allocation, field deployment, and team utilization
- Share weekly business reports with leadership and suggest local strategies
- Collaborate with other city managers and vertical heads for insights and resource sharing
What You Need to Succeed:
- 36 years of experience in sales, with at least 12 years in a team leadership role
- Strong understanding of B2C selling and B2B partner development
- Proven record of driving revenue targets and managing sales teams
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools, sales dashboards, and performance tracking
- Fluent in English; Kannada or other local languages is a plus
- Should be based in Bangalore or willing to relocate immediately
- High ownership mindset, strong execution capability, and leadership maturity
Preferred (Not Mandatory):
- Experience in EdTech, SaaS, real estate, or any fast-paced B2C/B2B sales environment
- Existing B2B network in Bangalore (institutions, HR heads, associations, etc.)
- Exposure to setting up new city operations or launching local growth campaigns
