A visual communications consultant focuses on partnering with consultants to understand and execute the desired outcomes of client project(s). Visual consultants deliver strategic visual communications and produce stellar materials across all service areas (strategy, operational excellence, sourcing & supply chain, and others). Visual communications and design thinking is integrated into every aspect of our consulting practice. This role requires the ability to adapt, learn, communicate effectively to different audiences, and have a passion for using design to inform, engage, inspire, and motivate people.
Job Duties
Job ResponsibilitiesConceptualize, design, develop, iterate, and execute visual communication with the goal of supporting and accelerating the broader outcomes of our client engagements across digital presentations, print, and eLearning platforms.Builds effective partnerships with engagement leads to deliver and execute on engagements. Ask good questions. Thinks diagnostically, quickly analyzes scenarios, and “connects the dots” to determine the most effective, creative solutions. Able to adapt working style to a variety of teams.Uses strong listening skills and design-thinking capabilities to participate in effective brainstorming and collaboration internally.Can partner with a consultant team to guide clients through a journey of discovery, learning, understanding, and transformation.Presents their work effectively, clearly articulating the proposed design solutions.Proactively surfaces opportunities, problems, challenges, and risks. Can effectively troubleshoot and work through difficult situation, and knows when to escalate.Stays current with best practices and leverages industry thought leadership and trends.Able to work with source content from analytics tools like Microsoft power BI etc.A team player with strong intellectual curiosity, industrious and willing to learn new capabilities.Able to effectively collaborate and manage multiple priorities, articulating conflicts and seeking clarity of goals.Comfortable working independently or collaboratively.Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education :Bachelor’s or advanced degree in graphic design, communication, or related field preferredStrong verbal and written comprehension skills in English
Experience and Skills :Up to 3-6 years of relevant experience in designMicrosoft Proficiency (i.e., Microsoft’s PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.).Demonstrated proficiency in visualizing complex data.Excellent written, creative, and verbal communication skills.Ability to work across tight timelines.Able to collaborate at least 3 hours a day in Eastern Standard Time.
