Job Description : BFSI & Banking Domain - :


- Leading & Mentoring team of L1/L2 network engineers in Data Center network performance monitoring team working 24-7 environment.


- Coordinating with clients Network Admin team/SME's to ensure network performance and ensure system availability and reliability


- Hands on Network/Security forensics to identify network reachability & performance issues


- Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.


- Analyze & identify network/security issues by using expertise on NPM tool i.e. Wireshark/ Extrahop/ Riverbed/ Corvil Etc


- Identify network issues using deep understanding of the latest SDN/SDWAN/Cloud network technologies.


- Monitoring of network post maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations


- Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning


- Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues


- Liaise with client vendors and other IT/SME personnel for problem resolution


- Coordinate with various stakeholders to understand network/security requirements and draft plan of action.


- Accurate recording of information & collecting artifacts


- Write a detailed post mortem of a network/security incident.


- Reporting network status to key stakeholders & management


- Automate monitoring tasks and reports.


Requirements :


- Proven hands-on network/security engineering/administration experience of 9+ years


- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.


- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.


- Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.


- Strong customer service orientation.


- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.


- Excellent communication skills (Verbal/Written)


- Excellent documentation skills


- Proven experience in incident management, service request management and problem solving


- Experience of working in a 24-7 environment


- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.


- One Certification required ITIL/CCNA/CCNP/PCNSE/PCNSA/Prince2/PMP Etc


- Solid understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP,SSL,SNMP, Flow, IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)


- Deep understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model


- Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools (Certification required)


- BE/BTech/Sci Graduate / Diploma from State Board


- Position requires L2 engineer to monitor DC network for availability, performance and help troubleshoot


- Bank Datacenter Network issues, coordinate with different vendors for RCA & involved in writing postmortems of issues.
