Job Role ESG Consultant

Detailed Responsibilities

  1. ESG Data Collection and Monitoring

  2. Daily Monitoring: Track key ESG metrics such as energy consumption, waste generation, water usage, carbon emissions (Scope 1, 2, and 3), employee health and safety incidents, diversity metrics, etc.

  3. Data Validation: Ensure accuracy and consistency in data collection across departments.
  4. Gap Analysis: Identify areas where ESG performance can be improved based on collected data.

  5. Stakeholder Engagement

  6. Internal Collaboration: Work closely with HR, operations, procurement, finance, and other departments to integrate ESG principles into their processes.

  7. Employee Awareness: Act as the point of contact for promoting sustainability awareness among employees through campaigns and workshops.
  8. External Coordination: Liaise with external stakeholders such as suppliers or customers to ensure alignment with ESG goals.

  9. Sustainability Project Management

  10. Execution: Coordinate with relevant teams to implement these projects effectively.

  11. Impact Measurement: Monitor project outcomes against predefined KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).

  12. Employee Training and Awareness

  13. Workshops & Seminars: Conduct regular training sessions on topics such as energy conservation, waste management practices, and ethical governance.

  14. Behavioral Change Programs: regular sending of awareness flyers on ESG

  15. Reporting and Documentation

  16. Internal Reporting: Prepare monthly/quarterly reports summarizing ESG performance for senior management review.

  17. External Reporting: Support the creation of annual sustainability reports aligned with frameworks like GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), SASB (Sustainability Accounting Standards Board), or TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures).
