Position Overview: Inside Sales Associate (We call them Rockstars)
As an Inside Sales Associate, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by connecting with potential students, understanding their needs, and effectively promoting our products/services. The job role is more of a consultative sales, placing a greater emphasis on guiding the student learning journey and problem-solving. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated to exceed sales targets
Outbound Calls: Initiate outbound calls to potential customers who have shown interest in our online courses.
Engage with leads in a friendly and professional manner to understand their educational needs and interests.
Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our online courses, curriculum, and features to effectively communicate the value proposition to potential customers.
Deliver persuasive sales pitches to encourage potential customers to enroll in our courses.
Objection Handling: Address customer queries, concerns, and objections to overcome barriers and facilitate successful sales.
Targets: Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales targets set by the management.
Follow-up: Conduct timely follow-ups with leads to nurture relationships and encourage enrolment.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback in the CRM system.
Work closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and product enhancements to provide accurate information to customers
Reporting & Analytics:
Generate Sales Reports: Compile and analyze data related to sales performance, including key metrics such as leads generated, conversion rates, and revenue.
Track Sales Funnel Metrics: Monitor and report on the progression of leads through the sales funnel, providing insights into areas for optimization.
Provide Forecasting Analysis: Assist in forecasting sales trends, identifying potential opportunities, and contributing to overall sales strategy.
Customer Segmentation Analysis: Analyze customer data to identify patterns and trends, enabling targeted and effective sales strategies.
Competitor Analysis: Conduct research on industry competitors, gathering data to inform sales strategies and market positioning
Sales Performance Metrics: Develop and maintain a dashboard of key performance indicators (KPIs) to facilitate real-time monitoring of sales team performance.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, MBA in Marketing or Sales or a related field will be preferred. Min Qualification : Bachelors Degree in any field.
Proven experience in Inside sales or a Outbound Calling team especially in Ed-Tech companies, is preferred. Experience in selling online courses will be huge advantage.
Minimum 18 months of Prior Work experience, Ed-Tech experience will be preferred
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong persuasion skills with a focus on achieving Sales Targets
Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Openness to learning and adapting to changes in the online education industry.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools
Learner Obsession, Student-focused approach with the ability to address participant inquiries and concerns.
