Position- Joint Director/Deputy Director- State Head (Bengaluru) Experience - 12-14 yearsPURPOSE OF THE JOB: To focus on the areas of Policy Advocacy, Advisory, Engagement, Research, Training and Capacity Building for:GovernmentBusinessesSocietyPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: The main areas in which this role must get results in order to achieve its sole purpose:EVENTS/SEMINARS/CONFERENCES/TRAINING PROGS:Ability to launch marketing campaignsAbility to organize and manage road showsAbility to increate & manage promotions to increase foot falls in eventsAbility to identify sponsors and other fund raising sources1-2 major event every year4-6 other programmes/initiativesPOLICY DEVELOPMENT & ADVOCACY/RESEARCH & REPORT CREATIONAbility to decide areas for policy changes through interaction with membersAbility to manage multiple projects around policy advocacyAbility to identify trendsAbility to understand advanced contemporary business issues4-5 representations /memorandum to the government and to get them resolvedMEDIAAbility to get coverage for reports in various forms of media & journalism etc.Three press conferences in a year8-10 sector specific press releasesPEOPLE MANAGEMENTInclusiveness, delegation, goal / task orientation, Prioritization, and managing career aspirations of team membersEnsuring significant contribution being made by all team members
