As aSenior SDET , you’ll own the automation strategy that ensures every release is smooth, scalable, and rock-solid—across Java-based microservices and React Native applications.About the RoleWe’re looking for ahands-on Senior SDET Engineerwho can design, implement, and scale automation frameworks that keep pace with rapid feature development. You’ll collaborate closely with backend, frontend, and DevOps teams to embed quality into every layer of the product lifecycle—driving test strategy for microservices, real-time APIs, and mobile app experiences.What You’ll Do1. Test Automation LeadershipDesign and developend-to-end automation frameworksforJava backend servicesandReact Native mobile apps . Buildscalable, modular test systemsto validate microapps, live data streams, and in-app contextual commerce features. Use tools such asJUnit/TestNG ,Appium ,Cypress ,Detox , orRestAssuredto automate API, UI, and integration tests. Implementmocking, stubbing, and contract testing(Pact, WireMock) for real-time API verification.2. Platform Quality & ReliabilityEnsurehigh availability and accuracyof betting, content, and commerce features through automated regression and performance tests. Validatedata integrityacross microservices and streaming layers. Contribute tochaos testing ,load testing , andreal-user simulationscenarios for live events Partner with DevOps to automate test execution inDocker/Kubernetes environmentsand track test health throughGrafana/Prometheus dashboards . Driveshift-left testing —ensuring issues are caught early in the development cycle.4. Collaboration & MentorshipPartner with backend and frontend engineers to defineacceptance criteriaandtest strategiesfor rapid feature rollouts. Mentor junior QA and SDET engineers in framework design and best practices. Contribute tointernal QA tools and libraries , supporting faster test authoring and improved observability.What You’ll BringBachelor’s or Master’s inComputer Science ,Software Engineering , or equivalent. 6+ yearsof experience as anSDET / Automation Engineer , ideally instartup or product-driven environments . Strong expertise inJavaand automation tools such asJUnit ,TestNG , andRestAssured . Proven experience automatingReact Nativeapps usingAppium ,Cypress , orDetox . Familiarity withmicroservices ,contract testing , andAPI reliability validation . Understanding ofreal-time data systems(e.g., Kinesis, WebSockets) andevent-driven architecturesis a plus. Strong communication and debugging skills with a bias toward rapid delivery. Nice to HaveKnowledge ofTypeScriptorNode.jstesting frameworks. Background insports analytics ,fantasy platforms , orinteractive media apps . Familiarity with AWSbased servicesanddevice testing farms(BrowserStack, AWS Device Farm).
