Role Overview :

Are you a coding wizard with a passion for turning ideas into reality? We're seeking a dynamic Technical Lead / Product Builder who will be the driving force behind building and scaling our product from scratch. As a Technical Lead / Product Builder, you're responsible for translating the vision into code and bring a concept to life.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead the end-to-end technical development of our product, starting from concept to launch and beyond.
  • Build the product from scratch, transforming ideas into functional software using your coding expertise.
  • Take full ownership of the technical stack, architecture, and scalability of the product.
  • Collaborate closely with non-technical stakeholders to understand the vision and translate it into technical requirements.
  • Develop, test, and iterate on product features to ensure they meet user needs and quality standards.
  • Provide strategic guidance on technology choices, development methodologies, and scaling efforts.
  • Oversee the selection and integration of technologies, frameworks, and tools required for product development.
  • Develop prototypes, proof of concepts, and MVPs to validate product concepts and gather user feedback.
  • Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting for product development initiatives.
  • Drive a culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement within the technical team.
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of the product, addressing technical challenges as they arise.

Requirements and skills :

  • Proven track record of coding and building software products from scratch.
  • 5-10 years of hands-on experience in building web/mobile applications
  • Experience in front-end languages and libraries like JavaScript, XML, jQuery
  • Experience in back-end languages (e.g. Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
  • Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
  • Ability to design clean and intuitive APIs for both web and mobile applications.
  • Ability to integrate third-party APIs for services like authentication, location, and more.
  • Familiarity with deploying web applications to cloud platforms like AWS.

Preferred skills and qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and guide technical decisions independently.
  • Experience in product scaling and architecture design for growing user bases.
  • Exposure to start-up environments and a willingness to embrace challenges.
  • A passion for turning ideas into tangible products and bringing them to market
