As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our platform's reliability, scalability, efficiency, and security.


Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Management and Automation:
  • Design, implement, and maintain Azure-based infrastructure using Terraform for scalability, reliability, and automation.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to enable version-controlled, repeatable infrastructure deployments.
  • Manage and provision infrastructure, focusing on scalability and reliability.
  • Containerization and Orchestration:
  • Containerize applications using Docker for improved portability and efficiency.
  • Manage containerized applications in a Kubernetes environment, ensuring high availability, scalability, and resource optimization.
  • Implement Kubernetes clusters and manage container orchestration for microservices architecture.
  • Monitoring and Logging:
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health, performance, and availability of infrastructure and applications.
  • Configure alerts and notifications for proactive monitoring and issue resolution.
  • Analyze logs and metrics to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
  • Security and Compliance:
  • Implement security controls and best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with security teams to conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests.
  • Participate in incident response activities and perform forensic investigations to identify and remediate security incidents.
  • Manage network security and ensure data center security and compliance.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, and operations to understand requirements and implement technical solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and address concerns.
  • Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and maintain system documentation.

Skills Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, infrastructure automation, and cloud technologies.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services and proficiency in using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
  • Strong knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell for automation and scripting tasks.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps for automated software delivery.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Azure Monitor.
  • Understanding of security principles and best practices in cloud environments, with experience implementing security controls and compliance standards.
  • Ability to mentor and guide DevOps team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with multi-cloud systems is preferred.
  • Experience in infrastructure provisioning, network security, and data center management.
