Job Description

Role: Curriculum Developer – Social Studies
Location: Mumbai
Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in History, Political Science, Sociology, Education, or related field (Master's preferred)
Experience: 2–5 years in curriculum development, educational publishing, or teaching with content creation experience
Compensation: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities

  • Design structured Social Studies curriculum for specific grade levels (primary, middle, or secondary).
  • Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, teacher guides, and project-based learning modules.
  • Align curriculum with national (CBSE/ICSE/State board) or international (IB/IGCSE) standards as required.
  • Research modern pedagogy and integrate best practices to enhance engagement.
  • Ensure content is factually accurate, unbiased, and age-appropriate.
  • Collaborate with academic teams, designers, and subject experts to produce high-quality resources.
  • Revise and update content periodically based on feedback and classroom performance.
  • Incorporate technology, multimedia, and interactive learning elements where applicable.

  • Strong subject knowledge in history, geography, civics, and related areas.
  • Experience in instructional design or academic content creation.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail for accuracy and quality.
