Role : Middleware AdministratorThis role requires middleware Administrator experience and technical skills essential to support complex Application architecture and systems, to effectively contribute to Middleware related projects also to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.Responsibilities:Provide Middleware and API platform support and maintenancePerform Middleware and API platform migrations to new systems and new software releasesDeliver new Middleware services including Application, web serversTroubleshoot Middleware related issues, support incidents and changesWork with multiple Middleware servers and complex multi-layer middleware environmentsProvide on-call Middleware support as a member of a Global TeamPerform RCA for incidents & provide remediation plan to functional teamsSoft Skills requiredAttention to DetailPossess a keen interest within Middleware technologies Application and web servers by understanding new current/forthcoming versionsSkill in using analytics, logic and reasoning to troubleshoot issues and find the best solutions to overcome challengesMust have a passion for providing excellent support to all types of users as well as impeccable verbal and written communication skillsMust possess organizational proficiencies to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervisionMust be a team player and have the ability to interact with multiple levels of personnel within the organizationRequirements:At least 7-12 years of experience in administrating tomcat, WebSphere, Jboss on Linux and MS IIS on windowsUnderstanding of MIddleware design, installation and configuration, Middleware monitoring tools and disaster recovery solutionsTechnical skills:SSL certification and its ManagementMiddleware products operations, configuration, patchingExpertise in application performance tuningApplication SecurityApp and web tier ManagementApp Server products - Tomcat, WebSphere, Jboss, MS IISWeb server products – Apache http, MS IISAPI Products – Mulesoft, Azure APIm, AWS API gateway, Workato a plusAPM and Log Management – New Relic and DatadogAzure app and web tier products would a plus
