Roles and Responsibilities (JD):

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the technical environment is properly maintained and that any problems are rectified.

  • Ensures proper deployment of new architecture in accordance with practices and standards.

  • Ensures proper resolution of problems that have been escalated.

  • Identify performance issues and drive the development of tools to correct.

  • Leads cross functional teams to design IT infrastructure architecture.

  • Mentor less experienced team members. Provides technical expertise in cross-function

Description Comments

Key Responsibility:

  • Responsible to carry our BAU day to Day activities.

  • Responsible for executing Project related activities.

  • Responsible for UCS, ESXi & Cliient Server troubleshooting, upgrades and firmware management

  • Responsible for analyzing vulnerabilities in PCI compliance report, prepare remediation plan, test, deploy remediation steps

  • Vendor Coordination to resolve hardware and software issues & Follow-ups till Closure

  • Responsible for monthly operating system ESXi, Client Server, VM (OS & Linux) patches installation and upgradation

  • Responsible for VM templates patching and compliance

  • Have experience in preparing SOP & MOP documents preparation for critical activities

  • Responsible for the development and refinement of operational best practices as it relates to Client Enterprise Cloud platform management & support

  • Stay up to date on emerging technologies and products, including attaining certifications and participation in industry events as appropriate to continue to drive improved methodologies into the organization

  • Assist in the development of automation tools

  • Provides appropriate level of support and troubleshooting for incidents across the environment and escalates to next Tier if needed

  • Exercises considerable attitude in determining technical objectives, without appreciable direction

  • Utilizes a variety of internal and external sources to investigate technology, build knowledge, and resolve incidents.

  • Review documentation, diagrams, configurations, standard operating procedures, and tools and regularly contributes to internal knowledgebase and departmental documentation.

  • Maintains professional demeanor under pressure possessing a can-do attitude, to keep the resolution process moving in a positive direction

  • Familiar with VMware infrastructure builds and Management

  • Experience in Managing cloud infrastructure services and ability to adopt new technologies

Requirement Details:

  • Relevant experience of 6+ Years of experience on the below responsibilities

  • Looking for L2/L3 skills in below core technologies, requires skills in one or more of the following areas:

  • Compute Cisco UCS blade & rack-mount servers, UCS Manager, Client servers

  • Operating Systems Windows, RHEL, Suse, CentOS, Ubuntu

  • Virtualization VMware vSphere, ESXi

  • Scripting PowerShell, Ansible, Python, Salt, batch files, etc.

  • PCI Compliance and vulnerability management

  • Willing to work 24*7 shifts

  • High accountability for results

  • Understanding of ITIL / ITSM with experience in ticketing (Service Now)

Desirable requirements:

  • VMware VCP

  • MCSE, MCSA, RHEL

  • ITIL Foundation

Experience Range:

  • Total Exp 6-8 yrs

Mandatory Skills 3 Must have:

  • VMware 7.0, OS (Linux/Windows), Hardware knowledge / ITIL

Secondary Skills:

  • PowerShell Script/Ansible/ServiceNow Ticket logging Tool Skill.

Degree Requirements:

  • Minimum Graduation

Certifications (If Any):

  • VCP (Mandatory), RHEL. /MCSE (preferred)
