Role & responsibilities

  • Solution Design & Implementation

  • Lead workshops to gather and analyze business requirements, map processes and identify gaps.

  • Architect scalable Business Central solutions aligned to client business strategy.
  • Configure advanced modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Service Management and Projects.

  • Prepare functional specifications for complex customizations and integrations.

  • Data Management & Reporting

  • Design and oversee data migration plans; map, validate and reconcile data using SQL.

  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, validation, reconciliation and reporting.

  • Use deep knowledge of Business Central/NAV table structures to diagnose and resolve functional/data issues quickly.

  • Project Leadership

  • Manage full-cycle implementations and upgrades; coordinate with project managers on scope, timelines and deliverables.

  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical/development teams.

  • Mentor and guide junior consultants on best practices, functional setup and data handling.

  • Training & Support

  • Develop user manuals and training materials; deliver end-user training sessions.

  • Provide post-go-live functional support and handle escalations.

Preferred candidate profile

  • 5+ years as a Functional Consultant on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV, with at least 3 full-cycle implementations in a senior role.
  • Deep expertise in multiple Business Central modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Service, Projects).
  • Proficiency in writing and optimising SQL queries for data migration, validation and reporting.
  • In-depth knowledge of Business Central/NAV table structures and data model.
  • Strong understanding of business process re-engineering and best practices.
  • Excellent client-facing, presentation and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Familiarity with AL extensions, API/OData, Power Platform and third-party integrations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field.
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate (preferred).
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
