The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of municipal processes, a network within BMC and associated authorities, hands-on experience with redevelopment approvals, and the ability to navigate complex compliance requirements with accuracy and professionalism.Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate with BMC and relevant government authorities to secure approvals, NOCs, permissions, and clearances for redevelopment real estate projects.- Ensure timely submission and follow-up of documents for various stages of the approval lifecycle.- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of municipal regulations, circulars, DCPR norms, and compliance requirements.- Liaise with internal teams, including ensuring documentation accuracy before submission.- Track file progress and proactively resolve issues or queries raised by authorities.- Build and maintain strong working relationships with officers and departments across BMC.- Prepare status reports, trackers, and updates for senior management.- Assist in audits, inspections, and site visits conducted by municipal departments.- Ensure proper record-keeping, filing, and compliance documentation for all approvals.Requirements:- 5–10 years of experience in BMC liaisoning with a strong focus on redevelopment projects.- Thorough understanding of Mumbai municipal processes, DCPR regulations, and real estate approval workflows.- Strong networking, communication, and follow-up skills.- Ability to work independently, manage multiple files, and meet tight timelines.- Proficiency in documentation, submission protocols, and MS Office tools.- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
