Job Description

Assist in the development of annual operating budgets and long-term financial plans. Collaborate with department heads to gather input, analyse trends, and identify budgetary requirements. Prepare budget vs. actual variance analysis and provide insights to management on key drivers. Support the forecasting process by analysing historical data, market trends, and business drivers. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review. Identify and communicate potential risks and opportunities based on financial analysis. Conduct regular performance analysis to assess the financial health of the organisation. Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure business performance and identify areas for improvement. Provide insights into revenue, expenses, and profitability to support strategic decision-making. Develop and maintain financial models to forecast business performance under different scenarios. Perform scenario analysis to evaluate the financial impact of strategic initiatives, investments, and business decisions. Assess the feasibility and ROI of proposed projects and initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CA/MBA preferred). 5-8 years of experience in financial planning & analysis or related roles. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling and analysis. Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial planning software (, Hyperion, Adaptive Insights, etc.). Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distil complex financial information into actionable insights. Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong business acumen and understanding of key financial concepts and metrics. Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and driving results.
