Job Description

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and lead the company's EHS strategy in alignment with organizational goals.Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations at the federal, state, and local levels.Safety Programs:

Implement and oversee safety programs and initiatives to minimize workplace accidents and injuries.Risk Assessment:

Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards in manufacturing and operational processes.Training and Education:

Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees to enhance awareness and compliance.Emergency Response:

Establish emergency response protocols and coordinate drills to prepare for potential crises.Environmental Sustainability:

Drive sustainability efforts to reduce the company's environmental footprint and promote responsible practices.Data Analysis:

Analyze EHS data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop data-driven strategies.Audits and Inspections:

Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure EHS policies and procedures are followed and meet industry standards.Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, to maintain positive relationships and stay informed about industry developments.

The Successful Applicant

EHS Expertise:

Extensive experience and expertise in environmental, health, and safety management.Leadership:

Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of leading EHS teams and initiatives.Regulatory Knowledge:

In-depth knowledge of relevant EHS regulations and the ability to ensure compliance.Strategic Thinker:

The capability to develop and execute a strategic vision for EHS within the organization.Risk Management:

Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating workplace risks and hazards.Communication Skills:

Effective communication abilities to engage with stakeholders at all levels and convey EHS policies and initiatives.Training and Education:

Experience in designing and delivering EHS training programs to build a culture of safety.Emergency Response:

Competency in developing and implementing emergency response plans and procedures.Data Analysis:

Strong analytical skills to assess EHS data and drive continuous improvement.Innovation:

A proactive approach to implementing innovative EHS solutions and staying current with industry best practices.
