​Research & Development​

The Raw Materials Assistant / Junior Associate will be part of the R&D Operations Raw Materials Governance team, Health & Hygiene. You will lead activities that are focused on ingredient resiliency and compliance on a global basis, with the aim of keeping our products compliant and future proofed.

About the role

Deliver proactive ingredient reviews by providing data analysis and generate impact assessments of ingredients used in Health & Hygiene Products on the market. Monitor progress of Hygiene ingredient compliance projects to ensure successful completion. Identify gaps while performing reviews and suggest resolution options with corrective action plans, collaborating effectively with wider RM and R&D Operations teams for successful implementation of the overall plans. Deal effectively with complexity and ambiguity when interfacing with cross-functional partners, understanding and adjusting to changing situations and problems as they arise. Timely escalate issues that would impact agreed plans. Demonstrate quality mind with ‘Right First Time’ practice by following documented procedures and good documentation practice. Actively contribute to process improvements/ways of working and elevate our compliance standards.

The experience we're looking for

Science-based degree, with experience in an R&D or Regulatory environment, working with data systems (TDS, databases) Effective communication & interpersonal skills - good influencing & networking Results oriented and self-motivated, with planning and organizational capabilities and good problem-solving skills. Ability to display a degree of flexibility and adapt effectively to change.
