Role & responsibilities

Oversee and drive growth of the gold loan portfolio across the region: multiple branches or clusters.

  • Set / monitor sales targets, disbursement goals, profitability objectives; ensure branches meet these metrics.
  • Ensure operational efficiency, process compliance, KYC & regulatory adherence, quality audits.
  • Manage risk: minimize NPAs / defaults, oversee recovery / auction process for pledged gold.
  • Lead, mentor & develop branch heads / area managers. Build a strong management pipeline.
  • Implement regional strategies for market penetration, customer acquisition, crossselling where applicable.
  • Monitor competition, local gold market trends (prices, customer behaviour), adapt business strategies accordingly.
  • Oversee and drive growth of the gold loan portfolio across the region: multiple branches or clusters.

Preferred candidate profile

*10+ years of experience in the financial services sector, with substantial exposure to gold loan products.

* At least 8 years in senior leadership roles (Area Manager, Cluster Manager, Regional Manager) with responsibility over multiple branches / large portfolio.

  • Strong understanding of gold valuation, collateral appraisal, risk & compliance issues specific to gold loan NBFCs.
  • 10+ years of experience in the financial services sector, with substantial exposure to gold loan products., collections & recovery targets.*
