The Opportunity :

- We're seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer to join our growing team in New Delhi.

- You'll play a key role in developing and maintaining robust APIs that power our innovative cloud platform.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement backend APIs using TypeScript and Node.js.

- Build and maintain highly scalable and reliable microservices.

- Integrate with various data sources, including relational databases (Aurora PostgreSQL) and event streams (Kafka).

- Utilize cloud platform services like AWS Lambda for serverless functions (a plus).

- Collaborate with front-end engineers and product teams to ensure seamless API integration.

- Write unit and integration tests using Jest to ensure code quality.

- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.

- Champion best practices in software development, including Domain-Driven Design.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred).

- 8+ years of experience developing backend APIs using TypeScript and Node.js.

- 5+ years of experience with JavaScript frameworks and related backend technologies (APIs, Events, Kafka).

- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with Postman for integration testing.

- Experience with Docker containerization concepts (a plus).

- Experience with Kubernetes, Kevlar, and Cucumber (a plus).

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
