Job Overview PSGR Krishnammal College For Women seeks a Mid-Level Assistant Professor in Commerce, located in Coimbatore. This full-time position requires a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 6 years of relevant experience. The selected candidate will contribute to the academic growth of students, focusing on commerce stream's various aspects. Qualifications and Skills Proficiency in financial accounting and human resource management is mandatory for the role to guide students effectively. Demonstrated ability to conduct data analysis to interpret business trends and improve instructional methods. A strong understanding of business ethics is essential to cultivate a responsible and ethical mindset in students. Knowledge of digital marketing strategies is crucial for aligning commerce courses with current industry practices. Experience in conducting quantitative research to aid personal academic development and mentorship roles. Proficiency in using SPSS for statisical analysis and data interpretaion in research projects. Strong command of Excel for efficient data management and organization of coursework materials. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to foster a collaborative educational environment. Roles and Responsibilities Deliver lectures and seminars in financial accounting and HR management to undergraduates and postgraduates. Develop and update the curriculum to incorporate emerging trends in commerce and industry needs. Supervise and guide students in their research projects, providing detailed feedback and academic guidance. Engage in quantitative research and publications to contribute to the field of commerce. Participate actively in departmental meetings, committees, and college events to promote institutional values. Mentor students on career planning and development, ensuring alignment with their academic interests. Collaborate with international partner institutions for knowledge exchange programs and research initiatives. Ensure compliance with college policies and educational regulations to maintain a high standard of academics. Experience: Assistant Professor - Minimum 5- 10 Years of Experience with Ph.D is Mandatory. Applicants should preferably hold a Ph.D in the relevant subject from reputed Institutions. Should have sufficient experience in Teaching, Industry & Research in reputed Institutions. Should have research papers published in International / National Journals Should have books published and Scholars awarded / currently working for applicants with patents registered / consultancy works carried out will be given preference.
