JOB OVERVIEW :

As Head of Finance, the responsibilities will include overseeing end-to-end finance operations, tax compliances, financial planning and analysis, regulatory compliances, credit facility management, risk management and business finance while looking to make improvements to procedures and controls. You will be a leader who will not only manage the overall finance function of Source.One, but will also be coordinating with teams for various reports and compliances.


CREATE:

  • Debt and equity fundraising initiatives to secure capital for the strategic growth of the organization.
  • Lead and oversee best practices such as Indian accounting standards and internal financial control implementations.
  • Institutional partnerships to expand the company's network and capabilities.
  • Ensure preparation and presentation of financial reports to senior management and stakeholders in a timely manner in line with company’s policy & practice.


NURTURE:

  • The finance department, ensuring up-to-date accounting practices and adherence to financial standards.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing effective controls and risk management strategies.
  • The documentation and conduct regular reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
  • All financial entries and reports for accuracy and compliance.
  • Managing and overseeing the cash flow of the company and ensuring it has the appropriate treasury controls.


MANAGE:

  • Manage and lead a finance team (10-12 people), providing guidance and mentoring to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Stakeholder Management:

Direct & Indirect Tax consultants

Debt Consultant

Equity Investor

  • Coordinate and oversee external & internal audits, liaising with auditors to ensure accurate and timely completion of audits.
  • Manage the payroll processes and ensure timely disbursement and compliance.


WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH:

  • CA/CFA with 5+ years of F&A Leadership experience as head/co-head of finance department of 50-500 people Organisation
  • Strong knowledge of indirect taxation
  • Experience of handling end to end finance functions of a small to mid size organisation.
  • Experience of working in a product distribution company with good business sense.
  • Well versed, and with hands-on experience, in accounting, consolidation, taxation, regulatory compliances.
  • People manager who has managed reportees from multiple functions, has navigated inter-department coordinations and has also managed company level coordinations.
