Job Description :
- ClearCase Administration : Install, configure, and maintain ClearCase servers, clients, and VOBs.
- Environment Management : Manage ClearCase Multisite replication and synchronization, ensuring data integrity and consistency across multiple locations.
- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve ClearCase issues promptly to minimize downtime and impact on development teams.
- Backup and Recovery : Implement and execute regular backup and recovery procedures to protect critical data.
- Performance Optimization : Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.
- User Support : Provide technical support and guidance to development teams on ClearCase usage and best practices.
- Automation : Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine ClearCase tasks, improving efficiency.
- Compliance : Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards for data security and management.
Requirements :
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ClearCase administration and support.
- Strong understanding of ClearCase architecture, components, and best practices.
- Experience with ClearCase Multisite replication and synchronization.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting ClearCase issues and resolving conflicts.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e., Perl, Python) for automation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills :
- Experience with ClearQuest or other defect tracking tools.
- Knowledge of version control best practices.
- Experience with other configuration management tools.
- Understanding of ITIL frameworks
