- Director/Enterprise ArchitectJob PurposeWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our Enterprise IT group. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data architecture principles, extensive experience with data modeling, and the ability to design and implement scalable data solutions. As a Data Architect, you will develop and maintain the enterprise data architecture, ensuring data integrity, interoperability, security, and availability across the organization, with a specific focus on various digital transformation projects on-going in the firm.Key Responsibilities1.Data Strategy Development:oDevelop a comprehensive data strategy in collaboration with different stakeholders that aligns with the transformational projects’ goals.oEnsure effective data management throughout the project lifecycle.2.Data Architecture Design:oDevelop and maintain the enterprise data architecture, including data models, databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.oDesign and implement scalable, high-performance data solutions that meet business requirements.3.Data Governance:oEstablish and enforce data governance policies and procedures as agreed with stakeholders.oMaintain data integrity, quality, and security within the Finance, HR and other such enterprise systems.4.Data Migration:oOversee the data migration process from legacy systems to the new systems being put in place.oDefine & Manage data mappings, cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure accuracy and completeness.5.Master Data Management:oDevise process to manage master data (e.g., customer, vendor, product information) to ensure consistency and accuracy across enterprise systems and business processes.6.Stakeholder Collaboration:oCollaborate with various stakeholders, including business users, other system vendors, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.oEnsure the enterprise system meets the organization's data needs.7.Training and Support:oProvide training and support to end-users on data entry, retrieval, and reporting within the candidate enterprise systems.oPromote user adoption and proper use of data.8.Data Quality Assurance:oImplement data quality assurance measures to identify and correct data issues.oEnsure the Oracle Fusion and other enterprise systems contains reliable and up-to-date information.9.Reporting and Analytics:oFacilitate the development of reporting and analytics capabilities within the Oracle Fusion and other systems.oEnable data-driven decision-making through robust data analysis.10.Continuous Improvement:oContinuously monitor and improve data processes and the Oracle Fusion and other system's data capabilities.oLeverage new technologies for enhanced data management to support evolving business needs.Technology and Tools:•Oracle Fusion Cloud•Data modeling tools (e.g., ER/Studio, ERwin)•ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend)•Database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)•Data warehousing and big data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Hadoop)•Data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica Axon)•Reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Oracle Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Tableau)•Hyperscalers / Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)Key CompetenciesQualifications:•Education:oBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.•Experience:o10+ years overall and at least 7 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database design.oProven experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and big data technologies.oExpertise in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases.oExperience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and related data services.oExperience with Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.•Skills:oStrong understanding of data governance and data security best practices.oExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.oStrong communication and interpersonal skills.oAbility to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.oLeadership experience with a track record of mentoring and developing team members.•Certifications:oRelevant certifications (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional, AWS Certified Big Data – Specialty) are a plus.Behavioral•A self-starter, excellent planner and executor and above all, a good team player•Excellent communication skills and inter-personal skills are a must•Must possess organizational skills, including multi-task capability, priority setting and meeting deadlines•Ability to build collaborative relationships and effectively leverage networks to mobilize resources•Liking and initiative to learn business domain is highly desirable•Likes dynamic and constantly evolving environment and requirements
