Utility Functional Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Utility Functional Consultant with expertise in Industry 4.0 applications, specifically focused on energy, water, compressor, BMS (Building Management System), boiler monitoring, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating comprehensive requirements, user stories, and innovative solutions to enhance the performance and efficiency of utility systems within our organization.

 

Experience: 4-6 yrs.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in engineering

 

Responsibilities:

 

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct pre-project assessments, understanding business requirements related to energy, water, compressor, BMS, and boiler monitoring.

2. Craft user stories to articulate system functionality from an end-user perspective and ensure alignment with business objectives.

3. Design and develop Industry 4.0 solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing utility systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

4. Employ testing skills to validate and verify that the implemented solutions meet the specified requirements and user stories.

5. Assess and implement technologies to track and improve energy efficiency, water consumption, compressor performance, and overall utility system effectiveness.

6. Develop and maintain detailed documentation of functional specifications, system design, and implementation plans.

7. Provide expert guidance to internal and external stakeholders on best practices for utility system optimization within an Industry 4.0 framework.

 

8. Utilize Microsoft ADO (Azure DevOps) for project management, version control, and collaboration.

9. Work within Agile and Scrum team environments, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

10. Conduct regular assessments of utility systems, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending innovative solutions.

11. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the successful integration of Industry 4.0 solutions with existing enterprise systems.

12. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to energy, water, compressor, BMS, and boiler monitoring.
