Responsibilities:

  • Bring the consumer perspective to decision-making across the organisation by executing market analysis and research activities to provide insights and recommendations:
  • Conduct primary and secondary research to uncover consumer insights
  • Apply quantitative and qualitative methods as per the research objective
  • Translate macro cultural trends into insights for brand marketing, creative development, and public relations
  • Manage external agencies for the execution of research projects
  • Identify ideal methodology and provide oversight on the data collection process and analytic work plan to ensure all available information is generated to support business needs
  • Convey analysis and recommendations via presentations and written reports for external and internal stakeholders:
  • End-to-end ownership of external and internal publications, including trends reports, sectoral reports, U&A studies, newsletters, etc
  • Creating and presenting decks to various stakeholders on research methodology, analysis, findings, recommendations, etc
  • Coordinating with and reviewing work of internal and external partners to create finished deliverables, including designers, copywriters, data providers.


Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant prior experience in consumer insights/ market research.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to develop strategy/decisions.
  • Strategic thinking and storytelling skills: competency in putting together data from multiple sources to tell a story.
  • Good written communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in managing a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research directly and through external agencies.
