Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functional Consultant with 7-10 years of expertise in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central ERP to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will be responsible for gathering client requirements, configuring, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics ERP systems, and providing training to end-users.

The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and analytical skills, enabling them to effectively translate business needs into functional solutions and ensure the successful implementation and optimization of ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Requirement Gathering & Analysis :

- Collaborate with clients to gather and understand business requirements and objectives.

- Analyze current business processes and propose solutions that align with the client's goals.

- Prepare detailed functional specifications based on gathered requirements.

ERP Configuration & Implementation :

- Configure and implement Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central ERP solutions to meet business requirements.

- Customize workflows, modules, and reports in accordance with the needs of the client.

- Perform system integration to ensure compatibility with existing applications.

Training & Support :

- Provide user training and develop training materials to ensure smooth adoption of the ERP system.

- Offer ongoing support to users, resolving technical and functional issues.

- Provide post-implementation support, ensuring the system is running efficiently.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams (technical, project management, etc.) to ensure the successful delivery and integration of ERP solutions.

- Coordinate with developers and project managers to address and resolve any implementation issues.

Process Improvement & Gap Analysis :

- Conduct gap analysis between the existing processes and the ERP functionality, and propose process improvements.

- Suggest best practices and solutions to improve business operations and ERP performance.

- Assist in data migration and quality checks to ensure data integrity in the new system.

Documentation & Reporting :

- Document functional requirements, configurations, and processes.

- Provide clear and concise project documentation and ensure knowledge transfer to the client.

- Prepare regular project status updates and reports for clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Skills & Competencies :

Technical Skills :

- Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central ERP expertise.

- Ability to configure and customize Dynamics NAV and Business Central modules.

- Familiarity with D365 CRM is a plus.

- Experience with ERP migrations, integration projects, and data migration processes.

- Strong knowledge of ERP modules (Finance, Sales, Inventory, Purchasing, etc.

- Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, and other reporting tools is advantageous.

Communication & Analytical Skills :

- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction.

- Ability to translate complex technical jargon into easily understandable language for clients.

- Analytical mindset to understand business requirements and propose tailored ERP solutions.

Problem-Solving & Client Management :

- Excellent problem-solving abilities to resolve ERP-related issues effectively.

- Experience working with clients to gather requirements, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Project & Time Management :

- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, deliverables, and expectations.

- Ability to deliver ERP solutions within timelines and manage client expectations effectively.

Team Collaboration :

- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

- Skilled at collaborating with internal stakeholders, developers, and project managers to ensure project success.

Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.

- Experience : 7-10 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central ERP.

Additional Skills :

- D365 CRM familiarity is a plus.

- Experience with ERP integrations and migrations.

- Strong knowledge of ERP modules and business processes
