Role Overview:You will play a pivotal role in
managing patent prosecution
initiatives for esteemed technology companies and industry experts across diverse sectors including Software, AI/ML, Wireless Communication, Networking, and Semiconductors. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate innovation roadmaps and safeguard intellectual property through meticulous prosecution of patent applications.
Job description:Manage a team of 5-6 individuals
in providing patent prosecution support to companies and IP counselEnsure smooth planning and execution of simultaneous multiple project deliveriesMust have had an experience of
delivering client ready responsesCarry out critical individual assignments as well as work as a project manager with teams, i.e., review team’s work and
ensure quality and timelinesFoster a culture of
continuous learning and growth
within the team, providing mentorship and support to elevate team members' skills and expertiseStay abreast of evolving USPTO/MPEP case laws and regulatory changes, imparting knowledge to the team and ensuring compliance in all patent-related activitiesManage email correspondence and actively participate in attorney calls to facilitate effective communication and alignment between stakeholders
Desired Skillset:Knowledge of USPTO, EPO, and Indian Patent Office guidelines and case lawsProficiency in
US patent prosecution
across a spectrum of technology domainsExcellent written and verbal communication
(an absolute must)Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisorStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to successful completionAbility to quickly understand and grasp complex/cutting-edge technologies within Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical, etc.Desire to deliver the best work product within set timelinesExperience in reviewing teams’ work to ensure quality and timely project delivery
Education/Professional Qualification and Work Experience:Bachelors/ Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, or Computer ScienceIP Experience: 6-8 years
