SOFTWARE SYSTEM DESIGNER - C++ Engineer THE ROLE: This is an exciting role in which you will have excellent exposure to all the latest AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) technologies. THE PERSON: We are seeking a highly self-motivated System Software Engineer with strong C/C++ development skills. The ideal candidate will work on low-level system software components, including SDKs, while leveraging modern AI tools to accelerate coding and debugging workflows. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Experience in utilizing AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and code quality is a must Should have hands-on experience with Visual Studio, Git, and debugging tools. Solid understanding of Win32 APIs, multithreading, CPU architecture and hardware-software interaction Knowledge of Windows device driver development (WDM/WDF) and Windows Internals is a plus Excellent aptitude and problem-solving skills. Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Extensive C++ experience, preferably in production environments 4-6 Years of relevant experience in system software development Prior experience of scripting with Perl, Python, Shell, TCL/TK, and AutoIT is an added advantage Knowledge of Windows and Linux environments Experience with software development process and tools such as debuggers and source code control systems a plus ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent #LI-SG Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
