We are searching for a Senior Accountant with substantial experience in monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. We need a professional with inherent leadership qualities and the attention to detail necessary to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation duties for our company in all areas.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule.
Analyse financial statements for discrepancies and other issues.
Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary.
Preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
Prepare the data for submission for Internal Audit.
Manage statutory compliance.
Keep accounts up to date as per the requirements of the Auditors.
Analyse financial information and summarise financial status
Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
Perform reconciliations of bank statements, credit card statements, and other accounts
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions and accounts
Assist with the preparation and filing of audit and tax returns and other regulatory compliance requirements
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
Experience in closing BOE / SB in Banks.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a financial controller, accounting supervisor, chief or senior accountant
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Familiarity with financial accounting statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Advanced MS Excel skills including V-Lookups and pivot tables
Accuracy and attention to detail
Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
Dgft / Fema knowledge
Knowlwdge and experience of DGFT licenses.
Qualifications:
3+ years' of professional accounting experience
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
