Job Description: Social Media Marketing Intern


About Us:

We are a dynamic startup seeking an enthusiastic and talented Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team for 3-6 months. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is pursuing or has completed their bachelor’s degree and is eager to learn, multitask, and gain hands-on experience in social media marketing. The role is Hybrid (Noida, Sector 16), offering flexibility and the chance to work with a collaborative and innovative team.


Role Overview:

As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you will support our team in developing and implementing social media marketing strategies and campaigns, managing social media accounts, engaging with clients and influencers, analyzing social media metrics, and creating content across various platforms. You will play a critical role in strategizing and creating original digital content that aligns with our clients' goals. Based on performance during the internship, there is potential for a full-time role.


Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Strategy Development:

  - Assist in planning and developing social media strategies for various brands based on client briefs and team guidance.

  - Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform strategy development.


2. Content Creation and Management:

  - Create compelling storylines and brand campaigns aligned with client guidelines.

  - Compose, edit, and publish social media posts with engaging captions.

  - Manage social media accounts to ensure content is up-to-date and relevant.


3. Engagement and Analytics:

  - Engage with clients to understand their needs and goals.

  - Generate, monitor, and report on social media insights, including traffic, engagement, shares, DMs, and conversion rates.


4. Collaboration:

  - Liaise with designers to ensure creatives and graphics are delivered on time and align with the brand strategy.

  - Facilitate communication between clients and the company, addressing queries, obtaining reviews, and organizing chats and Q&A sessions.

- Facilitate communication with influencers for collaboration.


5. Campaign Development:

  - Assist in developing special social campaigns for occasions and per client directives, executing and measuring their success.

  - Propose, execute, and manage influencer and other collaborations relevant to brands.


6. Internal Communication:

  - Assist in reporting to management about operations and campaign progress.


Requirements:

1. Currently pursuing or completed a bachelor’s degree in commerce, marketing or management.

2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

3. A keen interest in social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Threads, WhatsApp.

4. Basic understanding of how content is best consumed, cadenced, and optimized on social media platforms.

5. Enthusiasm for learning about existing and emerging media, online communities, and industry trends.
