Podar International School (IB) is looking for Primary Years Program - Homeroom TeacherLocation: Santacruz, MumbaiA PYP Teacher in an IB World School is responsible for delivering high-quality, inquiry-based education aligned with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. The role involves planning and implementing transdisciplinary units of inquiry, fostering student agency, and developing the IB Learner Profile attributes. The teacher creates a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, collaboration, and international-mindedness. Collaboration with colleagues, communication with parents, and ongoing professional development are essential aspects of the role.Key Responsibilities:Plan and teach according to the PYP framework and curriculumDesign and facilitate inquiry-driven, concept-based learning experiencesDifferentiate instruction to meet diverse student needsAssess and document student progress using formative and summative assessmentsCollaborate with grade-level and specialist teamsPromote student well-being and social-emotional developmentCommunicate effectively with parents and the wider school communityEngage in professional learning and contribute to the school’s IB philosophyEligibility:3 to 7 years of experience in relevant domain in an IB OR Cambridge schoolExcellent English Communication and ICT SkillsBachelor's degree with BEd or IB OR Cambridge CertificationsOpen for joining in a short notice and travelling within Mumbai
