As a Project Management Associate in the Release Management team, you will be a key player in supporting the Wholesale KYC Operations (WKO) group. You will have the opportunity to work closely with regional and global WKO stakeholders, acting as a conduit between various functional groups. Your role will involve managing projects, promoting change, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure to business process expansion, technology roll-out, and performance oversight for stability and governance of regulatory deliverables.

Partner closely with regional and global WKO & appropriate stakeholders to deliver WKO change initiatives globally, enable the firm to operate with maximum efficiently, in compliance with regulations and in new markets and products. Act as the conduit between local, regional Stake Holders, various Functional support groups, Core Compliance, Global Financial Crimes Compliance (GFCC) and WKO, with particular focus on global changes that affects KYC and Client Onboarding. Face off with Business Stake holders and WKO production stakeholders by initiating and shepherding WKO program changes while acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for various KYC / Onboarding operational processes and systems.  This role will allow exposure to business process expansion, technology roll out and performance oversight for stability and governance of regulatory deliverables. The Project Manager will work alongside the existing Program team members based globally, with immediate team members in India, UK & US. The individual will provide project management support in the execution of WKO APAC initiatives that include the enhancement of client experience and improvement of operational efficiency. With the exposure opportunity of end to end project life cycle, this role allows for the participation from initial planning phase to execution and to post implementation – allowing for the understanding and application of the key principles of project management to drive change.

Job responsibilities:

Ensure adherence to firmwide standards, controls and intelligence automation solutions governance Partner closely with Operations, Product and Technology groups and ensure that team priorities and needs are communicated effectively especially relating to Code Releases and Test environments. Experienced in using Business Driven Development / Test Driven Development test methodology or test case automation.  Experienced in using Cucumber / Gherkin / Team City or a similar tool would be added advantage. Identification of testing automation opportunities and test synergies within the Project. Align program / project priorities with global WKO strategic agenda Write test cases; participate in End To End (E2E), post Production and production parallel testing Demonstrate effective controls around the introduction of change and or process improvements Take ownership and leadership in resolving conflicts throughout program / projects execution.

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:

Graduate or Post-Graduate (preferred) with 6-8 years’ experience in Project Management Excellent with Data analysis, data mining and system analysis Experienced in one of UI technologies – Tableau Alteryx experience Familiarity with a global bank's process & operational environment including management and external reporting is a must. Strong business knowledge . Investment Banking, including product, process and system knowledge. Sound knowledge of the trade lifecyle Ability to think and act strategically: Deal with day-to-day issues as well as planning and executing projects / initiatives Ensuring the team's activities support Operations in attaining its strategic goals Excellent attention to detail, and an ability to know when a deep-dive approach is appropriate Ability to drive results through a "hands-on" approach  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and adept at communicating with all levels of the business and technical parts of the organization  Skilled in MS office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access and Project  Can operate effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines, and can prioritize one's own work to achieve them  Flexibility to work global hours Ability to understand/ work on Oracle and SQL would be preferred Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle & Agile methodology Strong analytical and problem solving skills
