We are conducting Face to Face(Walkin) interviews for Automation Tester-Java Selenium.

Date of Interview: 7th Dec 2024

Venue- Venue: TCS Velachery office - Taramani 100 Feet Road, 165/1A, New Colony Road, Velachery, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600042

Mode of interview: In person / Walk In Drive

Experience: 5-8 Years

Joining Location: Chennai/Pan India

Requirements

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications (For the role – not the role holder. Minimum requirements of the role.) 2+ Years of software testing experience with focus on below skills

Mandatory:

- Hands on experience on Core Java, Maven, GIT, JIRA, Jenkins.- Good Understanding of REST API types (GET, PUT, POST, DELETE).- Working knowledge on Testing Automation for APIs and UIs.- Good understanding of Message Schema, RAML, Message Request-Response mechanism.- Testing Tools – Selenium, Quality Centre, JIRA.- Hands on experience on Cucumber, BDD methodology, Gherkin syntax- Write and review range of testing documentation.- Coordinate testing tasks for specific projects, progress issues and escalate where necessary.- Regularly review testing processes in order to identify ways to improve efficiency.- Coordinate actively with the other testers on multiple projects and provide support/coaching.- Adoption and use of testing standards and processes- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to document complex test cases and issues.- Good evaluation and analysis skills, awareness of importance of defects found during testing, based on impact and priority.

- Knowledge on MS Excel.- Agile methodology.- Good knowledge and experience of the software testing process.- Understanding of any API testing tools like – POSTMAN, Rest Client, Anypoint etc.- Understanding of STUB/Service virtualization.- Been able to understand Retail Banking functions/requirements.- A strong team player who is highly collaborative recognizing their specialized role in the department and acknowledging other areas and individual roles and responsibilities.- Enthusiastic and self-motivated, Innovative thinker having the ability to approach things differently or do different things.
