Role Description

This is a contract (renewable) on-site role for a Data Scientist - Cloudera/MLOps to be based in Saudi Arabia for one of our esteemed overseas clients. But if the candidate joins in India, then it may be converted into a fulltime permanent position.

The incumbent is expected to develop, deploy, and operationalize machine learning models within Cloudera Machine Learning (CML) environment, implementing MLOps practices for AI use cases. WFH/Remote working would not be allowed as per client requirements. This is an urgent vacancy, IMMEDIATE JOINERS REQUIRED.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and train machine learning models for the 5 defined business use cases
• Implement end-to-end MLOps pipelines on Cloudera Machine Learning (CML)
• Feature engineering using the validated CDEs from the data foundation
• Model validation, testing, and performance monitoring
• Implement model versioning, tracking, and reproducibility
• Develop model monitoring for performance drift and data quality issues
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure reliable data feeds for models
• Create model documentation including technical specifications and business impact
• Optimize models for performance and scalability in production
• Implement model explainability and interpretability frameworks

Required Qualifications

• Master's in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in machine learning model development and deployment
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Scala
• Experience with MLOps tools and practices (MLflow, Kubeflow, etc.)
• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Experience with Big Data platforms and distributed computing
• Understanding of statistical analysis and experimental design
