The suite includes various security tools that offer features such as vulnerability scanning, code analysis, and real-time threat detection, providing significant benefits in protecting software applications throughout their lifecycle.The Application Security group is part of the HCL Software group, leading HCL Application Security portfolio.The Application Security group has been leading the Application Security Testing market for the last 20 years with the AppScan suite of products, covering Cloud-based services, Enterprise solutions, Desktop applications & Development integrations.In addition, the team has been the market leader of Application and Mobile Security Research.HCL AppScan is looking for an excellent Cloud DevOps Engineer candidate.In this role, you will work in a challenging, multidisciplinary environment as part of the DevOps Cloud Operation team , responsible for deploying and providing technical support for the company’s cloud-growing production environment.Responsible for availability, reliability, monitoring, performance, maintaining, troubleshot, optimizing production infrastructure systems.Create and maintain cloud infrastructure automation, implement best practices and procedures.Pay attention to the details and help us to ensure that major infrastructure projects are delivered on time and with urgency.Write and maintain technical documents and standard operating procedures.You’ll work collaboratively with software engineering and additional DevOps team members to deploy and operate our systems and support cross geography data centers and keep an up-to-date cloud environment that includes both container and non-container services.Knowledge & Skills requirements:Hands-on experience of at least 5 years as a Cloud DevOps Engineer – a mustExpertise and strong knowledge in the Azure cloud platform – a mustFamiliar with networking technologies and protocols – a mustDeep understanding of IaC such as Terraform, Ansible etc.Experience or good understanding of monitoring and logging tools such as ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.Experience with K8S, Docker, microservices, and containerizationExperience with Certificates, Secrets and Key Stores – is an advantageScripting and other interpreted languages (PowerShell, Python, etc.) – is an advantageUnderstanding CI/CD pipeline and build tools (Git, Jenkins, etc.) – is an advantageCan-do attitudeStrong interpersonal communication skillsDeep understanding of software support business and processesWhat will you be doing:Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, optimizing production infrastructure systems and making sure they are fully operational 24x7.Diagnose and treat complex technical scenarios down to root causeWork with scalable and extensible monitoring and logging systems such as Azure Monitor, Defender for Cloud, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.Work with Dev and DevOps team to maintain and deploy new componentsWrite and maintain technical documents and standard operating procedures.
