What's the role? Your role as a Principal Engineer will involve working: Technical leadership, build Proof-of-Concepts quickly to demonstrate and justify use of certain technologies and Architectural design approaches. Be a software craftsman: develop software that is well-crafted & steadily adds business value, as part of a community of professionals Drive initiatives that contribute to development of software that is efficient, re-usable and reliable Be part of an agile team, share knowledge, do code reviews, pro-active communication Be aware of the latest technologies and advocate for its use. Boost the effectiveness of our team by helping us in optimizing our development processes. Who are you? Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems. 11+ years application development experience, with good understanding of agile values and principles. Strong quality mindset is considered a must: System designing, Building, Scalability, Performance, unit testing. Advanced object-oriented design skills, exposure to modern design and architecture patterns . Strong fundamentals of Java/Scala. Strong Exposure to AWS Cloud and expert in using the same.Strong problem solving and logic capebilities - Data structures, Algorithms, Multithreading, Design Patterns. Strong understanding of Microservices concepts, Cloud, Webservices, REST, HTTP and JSON. Bigdata processing and architecture knowledge incl. Kafka, Flink, SparkInfrastructure experience: Maven, GIT, Amazon Web Services, Kubernetes, Docker Linux Environment.
