Job Overview:

The PMP-certified Project Manager - Foundry will lead projects from initiation through completion, focusing on Civil engineering, MEP(Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing), and program management timelines. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, PMP-level project management expertise, and strong leadership skills to ensure that foundry projects are executed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. This role leverages PMP certification to enhance project management rigor, ensuring project objectives are met with excellence and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

1. Apply PMP methodologies to create detailed project plans that cover Civil, MEP, and specific timelines.2. Set project scope, objectives, deliverables, and performance criteria with stakeholders, using a structured framework.3. Develop a master schedule and manage detailed schedules for each workstream, ensuring adherence to PMP standards.

Timeline and Risk Management:

1. Implement PMP practices to monitor project schedules for Civil, MEP, and equipment setup.2. Identify potential bottlenecks and proactively mitigate risks using PMP risk management protocols.3. Adjust project schedules as needed, employing strategies to recover from or avoid delays.

Resource Allocation and Team Coordination:

1. Utilize PMP resource management techniques to allocate resources efficiently across teams.2. Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless collaboration between Civil, MEP, and operations.3. Monitor resource utilization and adjust to meet project demands within budget.

Program Monitoring and Performance Tracking:

1. Use PMP frameworks to establish project metrics and monitor program health.2. Conduct regular status reviews with project teams and stakeholders, ensuring that project goals and objectives are transparent and met.3. Implement corrective actions and adjust project execution to address any deviations from planned performance.

Budget and Cost Control:

1. Work with finance teams to ensure budget alignment, using PMP cost management techniques to monitor and control expenses.2. Identify and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining quality and meeting timelines.

Quality and Compliance Assurance:

1. Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and foundry-specific requirements.2. Conduct regular inspections, reviews, and quality checks throughout each phase of the project lifecycle.

Documentation and Reporting:

1. Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, in line with PMP standards, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.2. Provide clear, structured updates to senior management and stakeholders on project health, risks, and budget status.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or related field (Civil or Mechanical preferred).2. PMP certification is required.3. 8+ years of experience in project management, ideally within the foundry or heavy manufacturing industry.4. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).5. In-depth knowledge of Civil engineering, MEP systems, and plant operations.

1. Proficient in PMP methodologies and best practices.2. Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.3. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.4. Collaborative, with a detail-oriented and quality-focused approach.5. Leadership with a focus on digital innovation, change management and SAP HANA
