Italian Teacher Position Type Teaching Commence Date 19 Jan 2026 Employment Status Permanent / Ongoing FTE/Hours per week 0.6 FTE Year Levels Primary Subject(s)/Grade Italian Role Details Emmaus Catholic School is looking for a part-time Italian Teacher (0.6 FTE) on an ongoing basis. Key Responsbilities:  Plan a comprehensive learning program in line with Australian Curriculum Address students’ varying intellectual, emotional and physical abilities in teaching practice Establish positive and effective relationships with students Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of student progress and achievement Demonstrate effective communication skills with students, colleagues, parents/caregivers and others at all times About You: Current Teacher Registration in South Australia and relevant demonstrated knowledge and experience Actively support and contribute to the Catholic ethos at Emmaus Catholic School. Employ high quality teaching and learning practices appropriate for an Italian Language Program in Primary Years context. Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with colleagues, students and parents to develop positive and inclusive relationships. Employ effective behaviour education strategies, aligned with Trauma Sensitive Practice. Demonstrate a passion for community and a willingness and capacity to contribute to the Emmaus Catholic School community. In addition to the necessary teaching qualifications, the successful applicant must also have a sound grasp of the language, for teaching at the primary school level.
