Job Description: Senior Software Engineer (Azure Devops)

Designation : Senior Software Engineer (Azure Devops)

Experience : 4-10 years

Mandate Skillsets : Terraform, CI CD PIPELINE, AZURE, DEVOPS, ANSIBLE , DOCKER , KUBERNATES , HELM

Location : Remote (WFH)

Notice Period : Immediate Joiner (15 days max)

Qualification : UG/PG in CS/IT/ Technical stream

(Azure Certification Desirable)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

What you will do

- Lead the designing, planning and implementation of our Azure cloud solutions and services.- Implement cost effective Cloud Solutions using IaaS/PaaS/SaaS so that it is flexible, extensible, elastic, secure and reliable at large scale.- Issue technical recommendations and guidelines for implementation and support.- Participate in the definition and evolution of development practices, and all technical processes and guidelines, ensuring they are followed by the team.- Work as part of a broader team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution via automation.- Mentor less experienced Engineers.- Provide expert level support to Operational teams.- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines from development right though to production.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE

Who You Are

- Minimum of 4-10 years’ experience, with at least 4 years in Azure Cloud Platform.- Designing, configuring & implementing infrastructure and network solutions in Azure.- LAN & WAN networking, TCP/IP, load balancing principles, infrastructure management concepts, and common internet services/protocols.- Experience with hub and spoke and landing zones.- Experience in managing and provisioning infrastructure through code (IaC).- Experience with automating application deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps.- Ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies or concepts, review functional and technical requirements, raising potential issues and participating actively in design discussions.- Experience with creating application and infrastructure monitoring solutions.- Familiarity with industry compliance and security standards.- Detail-oriented with good communication skills.- You thrive in a team environment where communication and being a team player is paramount.- Experienced in Agile Methodologies, both Scrum and Kanban.- Ability to work well both independently, and as a member of a team.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Experienced in following technologies:

- Experience with automation and IaC (Terraform, Ansible, Bash).- Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS).- Azure DevOps pipelines.- Practical hands-on Azure skills including Azure AppGW, WAF, Vnet, Routing, Subnets, App services, VM’s, Helm and Helmfile.- Rabbit MQ.- MSSQL, Azure SQL.- Windows Server administration.- Active directory, Azure AD, Azure AD B2C.- Dynatrace is desirable.
