THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL, TECHNOLOGY LEADER. Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned QA Engineer with deep expertise in test automation engineering and the ability to design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines . The ideal candidate will create highly scalable automation frameworks, streamline build and deployment processes, improve system reliability, and ensure release stability across all environments. Minimum Qualifications: Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python for automation development. Strong hands-on experience with Docker and containerization technologies. Proven expertise in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.). Experience with monitoring/observability systems such as Splunk or Grafana. Solid familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms. Extensive experience architecting UI test automation frameworks using tools like Cypress or Playwright. Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting. Nice to Have: Additional experience with Cypress or Playwright (if not already primary automation tools). Hands-on experience with AI/ML to support test development, intelligent test selection, and smart automation techniques. Experience with modern cloud deployment strategies (blue-green, canary, progressive delivery). Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue . Responsibilities: Define and lead the quality engineering and CI/CD strategy across multiple teams and product lines. Architect and implement enterprise-grade automation frameworks emphasizing scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Build, enhance, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to support fast, reliable, and repeatable software delivery. Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions (e.g., Splunk, Grafana). Continuously optimize pipeline performance , reducing execution time and improving efficiency. Architect cloud-native testing solutions leveraging AWS, Docker, and container orchestration. Enable zero-downtime deployments and ensure consistent, reproducible environments. Evaluate and integrate modern tools, frameworks, and methodologies to improve test effectiveness and coverage. Explore and adopt AI-driven approaches to enhance automation intelligence, test optimization, and failure analysis.
