Job Tasks:

Administration of Linux Systems (mainly Debian and derivates)

  • Further Development of our exising Concepts in Server Security
  • Conception of our Hardware and Software Infrastructure
  • Supporting in improving internal processses
  • Second Level Support for our Customers on Administration related issues
  • Monitoring of Infrastructure, Trouble Shooting, Handling Emergencies

Your Profile:

  • University Degree in IT / Computer Science / Related Fields
  • Solid Experience in Server Administration (Linux / Debian)
  • Experience in Intrustion Detection / Prevention and Monitoring with Products such as Security Onion, Snort
  • Experience and Knowledge about Attack Patterns and defensive methods
  • Knowledge about Virtual Networks and Network Infrastructure (Routing, Firewalls, VPN)
  • Security First Mindset


Further Knowledge would be advantage in (von Vorteil):

  • Container Technologies (eg Docker/Podman, Kubernetes and similar)
  • Configuration Automation (eg Ansible, puppet,chef and similar)
  • Scripting Experience (eg bash, Powershell, Python)
  • Switch and Firewall Configuration (HP, Cisco, Sophos, Pfsense)
