About the Role:
- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Fundraising Specialist with a strong background in consulting or finance, particularly within the startup ecosystem.
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in successfully raising the first round of funding for startups and working with financial institutions to secure loans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fundraising Strategy Development : Design and implement effective fundraising strategies tailored to the needs of startups, focusing on securing seed or Series A funding, as well as exploring loan options from financial institutions.
- Investor and Lender Relations: Build and maintain relationships with potential investors, including venture capitalists, angel investors, and financial institutions. Develop pitch decks, business cases, and loan proposals for potential investors and lenders.
- Financial Planning: Collaborate with the finance team to develop financial models, forecasts, and budgets that align with both fundraising and loan acquisition goals.
- Loan Acquisition: Work with financial institutions to explore and secure loan options that support the company's growth and operational needs. Manage loan applications, negotiations, and agreements.
- Due Diligence : Prepare and manage all aspects of due diligence processes, ensuring compliance with investor and lender requirements, as well as company policies.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for fundraising and loan acquisition, providing insights to guide strategic decision-making.
- Consultation and Advisory: Advise startup founders and executive teams on fundraising strategies, financial planning, investor relations, and loan acquisition.
- Reporting and Communication: Regularly report on fundraising and loan acquisition progress to internal stakeholders and provide updates on key milestones and timelines.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: MBA in Finance or Strategy from a reputable institution.
- Experience: Proven experience in consulting or finance, with a strong focus on the startup ecosystem. Must have successfully raised the first round of funding (seed or Series A) and secured loans from financial institutions for startups.
