Job Description:
Senior Compositing Artist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the compositing process to create seamless integration of CG elements, live-action footage, and matte paintings.
  • Deliver high-quality visual effects shots while maintaining consistency with the creative vision.
  • Apply advanced techniques in keying, roto, tracking, color correction, and multi-layer compositing.
  • Troubleshoot technical and artistic challenges in complex shots independently.
  • Review and mentor junior compositing artists, providing constructive feedback to improve their skills and output.
  • Work closely with VFX Supervisors, CG Artists, and Production teams to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
  • Maintain a strong eye for detail and ensure adherence to technical and artistic specifications.
  • Stay updated with industry tools, workflows, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience (8+ years) in compositing using industry-standard tools like
    Nuke
    ,
    After Effects
    , or similar.
  • Strong understanding of color theory, lighting, and film language.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced keying, tracking, roto, and cleanup techniques.
  • Solid knowledge of compositing workflows for film, TV, or digital media projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple shots and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Visual Effects, Animation, Fine Arts, or related field preferred.
