DevOps knowledge (Terraform, Jenkins, CloudFormation) is a plus.Responsibilities:Architect relational & NoSQL databases usingRDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, Redshift, ElastiCache, DocumentDB .Implement HA, DR, backup/restore, partitioning, replication, sharding.Lead migrations usingDMS, SCT, Snowball , perform assessments, schema conversions, validations.Modernize legacy databases for cost/performance.Apply security best practices: encryption, IAM, KMS, compliance (HIPAA, CIS, GDPR).Monitor & optimize performance viaCloudWatch, Performance Insights , caching withElastiCache/DAX .Integrate with logging, monitoring, governance tools; automate provisioning viaService Catalog, Control Tower .Required Skills:3+ years with AWS DB services ( RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, Redshift ).StrongSQL/NoSQL , data modeling, query optimization.Migration & modernization experience.Security & compliance knowledge.Optional Skills:Terraform, CloudFormation , CI/CD tools ( Jenkins, Bitbucket ).Containerized DBs, Kubernetes operators.Certifications (Preferred):AWS Database – Specialty ,Solutions Architect , or other DB/cloud certs.
