Supplier Development Engineer HoC CastingJob description:Implementation of the ZF supplier readiness process of new projects (Sourcing + APQP + Safe Launch)Risk Assessment:Determination of risks regarding part design, supplier production processes, industrialization time and supplier capabilityTechnical review:Technical evaluation of the supplier processes, production concepts, quality and development capabilities, know-how and project milestonesAPQP including supplier process release and by utilization of quality tools like MSA, FMEA, SPC, VDA6.3 audits, PPAP etc.Manage supplier development activities linked to escalationsAssessment of new and development of existing released suppliersYour profile:Completed degree in mechanical engineering, production technology, manufacturing technology, foundry technology or similar within automotive/business related industryAlternatively, technicians, masters with many years of professional experience in aluminum die casting including machining and follow-up processesSeveral years of experience in supplier managementProven experience in manufacturing casting and machiningSolid knowledge in HPDC tool manufacturingSolid expertise in mold flow and solidification analysis and its evaluationAnalytical technical approach as well as creative and innovative thinkerKnowledge of methods for structured problem solvingExperience in core quality tools like APQP, 8D/QR6S, FMEA, MSA, SPC, VDA6.3, PPAPHigh level of motivation and strong and reliable decision making-capabilitiesTeamwork and team building skillsFluent in the English language in word and writingHigh flexibility to travelQualification : B E Mech / ProductionYears of experience : 9-11 Years
