R&R Mechanical EngineerEnsure plant and equipment are well maintained and safe to operateTo support plant operations and ensure that day to day maintenance requirement of the site is fulfilled.Ensure that the there is an updated Annual PM schedule which is signed off by the stakeholdersEnsure that all the process /Packing and Utility equipments of the site is functioning without any failuresEnsure that the new equipments are included in PM schedule.100% adherence to the planned maintenance and breakdown maintenance100% adherence to breakdown SOPEnsure that the equipment notifications are closed with history on time in SAPPerform RCA as per SOP and close all CAPAs as per IR time given to avoid repeat failuresFocus on equipment availability above 99.5% for service critical equipment, 98% for other equipments, 100% for safety critical equipmentMonitoring Annual Engineering Budget and develop zero based maintenance budget.study the condition profile of the equipment and plan for phase wise replacement100% compliance to approved Opex and Capex budgetsReview and set Minimum – Maximum levels for critical spares and ensure 100% availability.Prepare various daily / weekly / monthly MIS reports. Ensure timely completion of IRM Presentation, work plan of Cluster, engineering dashboard compliances. Ensure timely compliance of SAP PM Module requirement.Compliance to legal & metrology requirements.Project execution as per equipment layout & P& ID.Look after to maintain uninterrupted operation & maintenance of Plant machinery Utility equipment, Fire Hydrant and alarm system.

Safety and safe ways of workingEnsure that all the Engineering and maintenance activities are performed as per EHS requirement of PIL and local regulatory requirementsEnsure that there zero reportable incidents from his areas of work.Ensure that the equipment integrity and safety is maintained well so as to avoid injury to operating people and damage to properties.Implementation of EHS, TPM, 5 S & JH activity, 360 deg guarding, leak free/dust free equipment’s, ISO 14001 & OHSAS18001Ensure compliance of requirement of LEGATRIX and update the same on time

QualityEnsure equipment failures are not leading to product quality deteriorationEnsure that repeat failures are reduced by 50% YoYReview PM checklists of equipment and improve the quality and frequency based on the outcome of inspections / failures / RCA / FMEAconducted on the equipmentUpkeep of IOT, DCS, Data collection and Analysis of the IOT reports and prepare the action plan to eliminate the stoppages in co-ordination within department & cross functional departments.Energy conservation& cost savingEnsure that high energy consuming equipment are functioning properly and energy is not wastedImplement energy saving measures and keep track of the savings committedReplace inefficient equipment phase wise and help the plant's energy performance is highIntroduce innovation and new ways of working to reduce the cost of asset management and cost efficiency of the plant.People and contract managementResponsible for developing his team members & contractorsEnsure adequately trained people are only engaged to perform critical jobsEnsure that all the planned Role Based trainings are attended for himself and people reporting to him
