About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled
Java Backend Engineer
to join our Technology team. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise-grade backend systems. The role requires strong expertise in
Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and SQL
, along with an engineering mindset to solve complex technical problems.

You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and product teams, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services. This role offers exposure to modern AI-assisted development tools and a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using
    Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
    .
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues by analyzing logs, code, and data.
  • Build and maintain
    RESTful APIs
    for enterprise-grade applications.
  • Perform
    root cause analysis
    and deliver long-term solutions for recurring problems.
  • Optimize application performance through effective system design and coding best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, operations, QA) for high-quality product releases.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing best practices and coding standards.
  • Explore and adopt
    modern AI-assisted platforms/tools
    (e.g., Cursor, GitLab Copilot) for development efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education:
    B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience:
    4+ years in backend development.
  • Strong expertise in
    Core Java
    and
    Spring Boot (3+)
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    microservices architecture
    .
  • Proficiency in
    SQL (PostgreSQL/Oracle)
    with ability to write complex queries.
  • Experience with
    ORM frameworks
    such as Hibernate.
  • Solid understanding of
    OOP, system design, and design patterns
    .
  • Proven ability to
    build, maintain, and troubleshoot REST APIs
    .
  • Strong
    problem-solving skills
    , especially under high-pressure scenarios.
  • Excellent
    communication and collaboration skills
    .
