Role & responsibilities

  • Lead the estimation and costing activities for solar EPC projects (utility-scale, rooftop, hybrid, and storage solutions).
  • Review tender documents, technical specifications, and drawings to prepare detailed BOQ, cost estimates, and bid submissions.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, supply chain, and project teams to obtain accurate inputs for estimation.
  • Develop cost models covering civil, electrical, and mechanical works, including modules, inverters, structures, cabling, transformers, and balance of plant.
  • Analyze vendor and subcontractor quotations, ensure technical and commercial compliance, and finalize competitive pricing.
  • Prepare bid clarifications, risk analysis, and value engineering proposals for management approval.
  • Support negotiations with clients and partners during pre-award stage.
  • Track market trends, price fluctuations, and maintain updated databases of materials, equipment, and labor costs.
  • Ensure estimation accuracy and adherence to companys financial and strategic objectives.
  • Manage and mentor a team of estimation engineers to ensure quality and timely delivery of proposals.
