Description

You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of entire engineering solutions to accomplish business goals. You will provide engineering thought leadership across teams, mentor and coach junior engineers and encourage continuous improvement in delivery practices. You will be joining Treasury, Markets & Investments department primarily focusing applications for Liquidity management.What we’ll offer youAs part of our flexible scheme, here are just some of the benefits that you’ll enjoy.Best in class leave policy.Gender neutral parental leaves100% reimbursement under childcare assistance benefit (gender neutral)Sponsorship for Industry relevant certifications and educationEmployee Assistance Program for you and your family membersComprehensive Hospitalization Insurance for you and your dependentsAccident and Term life InsuranceComplementary Health screening for 35 yrs. and aboveYour key responsibilitiesDevelop, tune, execute, and manage Oracle and Postgres PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages and database triggersSupport the data architecture with some data integrationMonitoring database performance and tuning SQL queries and identifying and resolving scalability issuesDeveloping and amending stored procedures and PL/SQL code to implement business logicCandidate/Applicant will also provide subject matter expertise and level 3 support to ensure the smooth running of systems and quick recovery from outages/downtimeProviding L2 and L3 support on Oracle Databses Platform and CloudSQL (Postgres) used within the BankDesign and Create new solution for implementation within entire Oracle/Postgres infrastructure (automatizition, scripting, tools)Prepare new Oracle platform version rollouts (including testing and documentation)Integrate standard Oracle platform within solution used in wider IT Infra environment (OS, storage, virtualization, security)Ensure required documentation is in-place and up to date for all data management solutionsCollaborate with other internal or external teams on projects such as sourcing data feed, working with vendorsExperience creating logical entities and defining their attributes defining the relationships between the various data objectsYou will also be responsible for performance tuning including tuning complex queries to perform on a large historical dataExcellent knowledge of Oracle Exadata is a must.Your skills and experienceDevelop PL/SQL Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, SQL statements in Oracle and PostgresCreate tables, views, indexes, triggers, types, packages and other database objects as neededExperience of working in Google Cloud Platform and CloudSQL (Postgres)Experience in Data modelling for large applicationsReviewing audit reports and defining / setting up new logging when neededMoving changes to the Production environments and tuning / optimizing (PL)/SQL queriesEnsuring backup and recovery of all data, for Oracle data using RMANDeveloping scripts for reporting, data manipulation and automation of daily tasksProviding support to Development and QA teams on applications/database issues.Experience/ Qualification:9-14 years’ experience developing PL/SQL procedures, functions, packagesMust have experience using bulk loading methods - Oracle sqlldr, external tables.Prior experience in performance tuning of database queries, materialized views.Or similar (development environment)The ideal candidate will be capable of documenting small-to medium scale projects with minimal supervision and may be involved in developing and delivering presentations.Designs, develops, and supports solutions utilizing Oracle relational database management system.How we’ll support youTraining and development to help you excel in your careerCoaching and support from experts in your teamA culture of continuous learning to aid progressionA range of flexible benefits that you can tailor to suit your needs
