Role Description

We're seeking a Legal Researcher who will serve as a bridge between legal expertise, journalistic research, and AI technology. The ideal candidate is a legally trained communicator with a sharp analytical mindset and a passion for legal innovation. You will play a crucial role in researching legal frameworks, understanding the Indian legal ecosystem, interacting with legal professionals, and translating insights into structured documentation to support AI product development.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth legal research and create clear, insightful content for legal workflows
  • Interview lawyers, judges, and legal professionals to understand user pain points
  • Translate legal findings into actionable AI product requirements and use cases
  • Develop content for multi-channel communication including thought leadership, blog
  • posts, and internal knowledge bases
  • Collaborate with AI engineers and product managers to build training datasets and
  • validate legal tech features
  • Track emerging trends in the legal tech and Indian law space for continuous
  • innovation

Qualifications

(We are not too stringent in terms of Qualifications. We consider talent from all backgrounds.)

  • Bachelors or masters in communication
  • Strong command of English (regional language proficiency is a bonus)
  • Law Degree (LLB) would be an advantage
  • Exposure to AI, legal tech tools, or data analysis (optional but valued)
